This is an acetylacetone-chelated organic titanate, a modified titanium chelate with greatly improved hydrolysis stability compared with ordinary titanium isopropoxide, and not prone to rapid gelation upon contact with water. It can be used as an adhesion promoter, crosslinking agent, and catalyst for coatings and inks; suitable for baking coatings, alcohol-soluble printing inks, and plastic-substrate coatings, improving coating adhesion to PET, PP, and metal substrates; also used for filler surface treatment, sol-gel systems, and nanomaterial preparation. The product is soluble in alcohols, esters, ketones, and other organic solvents; avoid direct contact with large amounts of water.
1. Coatings industry (most mainstream): adhesion promoter for baking paints, amino baking paints, acrylic coatings, and polyurethane coatings, improving coating adhesion to metal, aluminum, galvanized sheet, PET, PVC, and plastic substrates; prevents pigment settling and improves dispersibility; improves the boiling-water and salt-spray resistance of coatings; compatible with water-based / alcohol-soluble systems, with stronger hydrolysis resistance than ordinary titanates.
2. Printing inks & printing consumables: crosslinking agent and adhesion promoter for alcohol-soluble inks, plastic printing inks, and metallic inks; film printing (PET, BOPP film inks), improving the bonding strength of ink to plastic films; flexographic and gravure ink systems.
3. Adhesives and sealants: coupling agent and crosslinking catalyst for polyurethane adhesives, silane-modified adhesives, and acrylic adhesives; improves the interfacial bonding strength of adhesives to metal, glass, and plastic.
4. Filler / powder surface treatment: surface modification of inorganic fillers such as calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, mica powder, and aluminum hydroxide; improves the dispersion of powders in resins and solvents and reduces system viscosity.
5. Sol-gel, nanomaterials, ceramic coatings: precursor for titanium-dioxide sol, inorganic coatings, and low-temperature ceramic-coating precursors; raw material for optical coatings and wear-resistant coatings.
