Features: Full UVA+UVB coverage (300–400 nm), maximum absorption wavelength 353 nm; high-molecular dimer structure, almost no sublimation during high-temperature processing, no contamination of molds or rollers.
Solubility (20°C): Soluble—toluene, xylene, acetone, ethyl acetate, chloroform, various ester/aromatic solvents. Slightly soluble—aliphatic hydrocarbons, cyclohexane. Insoluble—water, methanol, ethanol.
Core product features: High temperature resistance, ultra-low volatility—the high-molecular dimer structure has extremely strong thermal stability, suitable for PC, PPS, nylon, PI and other extrusion/injection above 300°C, with no smoke or die-plate precipitation during processing. Low migration, bloom resistance, extraction resistance—much higher molecular weight than conventional single benzotriazole products, no migration or blooming during long-term outdoor and high-temperature use; single-layer addition in multilayer coextrusion films without a barrier layer. Wide-band full UV protection—absorbs UVA and UVB simultaneously, effectively inhibiting material yellowing, surface cracking, and mechanical strength decline, and long-term improving outdoor weather resistance. Light base color, excellent transparency—light yellow powder, minimal impact on light transmittance of transparent substrates after addition, suitable for optical sheets and automotive transparent exterior parts. Outstanding synergy with HALS, antioxidant 1010, and co-antioxidant 168 to build a complete weather-resistant anti-aging system. Water-wash and solvent-extraction resistance—not easily lost under outdoor rain or solvent contact, maintaining stable UV protection over the long term.
Application: Suitable resins: PC, PET, PBT, PPS, modified PPO, PA nylon, PI, PMMA, ABS, TPU. Typical products: automotive light covers, optical sheets, photovoltaic backsheets, high-temperature coextrusion films, appliance transparent housings, high-temperature electronic parts. Polyolefin films and sheets: PP, PE single/multilayer coextrusion films, outdoor calendered thick sheets. Coatings, adhesives, industrial inks: high-temperature powder coatings, automotive clearcoats, outdoor weather-resistant adhesives, optical composite adhesives, weather-resistant printing inks.
Packaging, storage and shelf life: Specifications: standard 25kg / PE moisture-proof lined fiber drum; customizable 5kg, 20kg small packages with moisture-proof sealed lid. Storage: sealed in a cool, dry, ventilated warehouse, temperature ≤28°C; away from open flame, strong oxidants, strong acids; no outdoor sun exposure or rain. Shelf life: 24 months under unopened original packaging and standard storage; consume within 3 months after opening to prevent caking from moisture absorption. Handling protection: handle gently to avoid dust from damaged packaging; operators wear dust masks, goggles, and nitrile protective gloves.
