Product Introduction
TIPT (isopropyl titanate) is a tetravalent titanium oxide and a very active primary titanate. It hydrolyzes immediately upon contact with atmospheric moisture. TIPT is mainly used as a catalyst for alcoholysis or acetalization reactions, and can also be used for the refining of polyolefins. TIPT can also help crosslink resins containing hydroxyl or carbonyl functional groups. It is suitable for heat-sensitive and light-sensitive coating applications, and is very helpful for environments sensitive to the atmosphere and moisture. Note that TIPT can only be added to solvent-based products.

Reaction catalysis: TIPT (isopropyl titanate) is an effective catalyst for esterification, transesterification, condensation, and addition reactions, or as a polyolefin reinforcing nano-catalyst. Typical products include (meth)acrylates, polyesters, hard plastics, polyurethanes, etc. Benefits of using TIPT (isopropyl titanate) include the removal of by-products, increased yield, ease of operation, and the formation of stable liquid catalysts.
Coatings: TIPT (isopropyl titanate) can be used to treat glass, metal, plastics, and pigments to increase surface hardness, promote adhesion, improve scratch resistance, coloring effect, reflection of heat and light, and iridescence and clarity.
Paint additive: TIPT (isopropyl titanate) can be used as an additive in paints, crosslinking functional polymers or binders, promoting adhesion, or used as the binder itself.
Other application fields: plastics industry, pharmaceutical industry, and other fields.
